Ask and You Shall Recieve

A couple of days ago I started my blog and said I hadn't been contacted by club or family yet. That is now a thing of the past. :) (*insert party emojis) I will now give you a clear image of how I reacted when I woke up yesterday to the email from my counselor, Michael Knight. At around 7:00 my dad woke me up for school. After trying to maximize my time in the warm sheets of my bed I got up and proceeded to the family computer to see if I had any emails that I need to attend to. When I saw an unfamiliar name, I quickly opened the email and then proceed to run around my house yelling I'm going to Stockholm!!! Today I was in the middle of class checking my email a million times likes I always do, and BAM an email from my host dad was there. I couldn't yell, of course, because I was in school, so I proceed to hop out of my seat and start dancing. I can assure you my classmates were very confused.

Sorry, I know the cities are really small, but where the red dot is Täby. In Täby is my host club (Shoutout to the AWESOME Rotarians there for volunteering to host me). The darker larger letters are where Greater Stockholm is. Where the blue line ends is Hässelby (I probably butchered the pronunciation of the town multiple times today) this is the subdivision that my first host family the Brink's live. From what I understand, they have two children Erik and Sofia. Erik is 19 and will be graduating Highschool this year. Sofia is going on exchange to Ontario, Canada. Sofia, I wish you lots of luck with your exchange and hope you get addicted maple syrup and come back saying "Eh." ;) JK Sorry if I offended any Canadians. According to my host dad, Magnus, my family also likes to run, ski, skate, cycle, hike, and swim. I guess I won't be gaining weight in this family (lol). I also should probably start training my body to swim in that crisp Swedish water. ;)

As of now my school hasn't been selected, but I have to try to decide on what classes I would like to take.
That is all that I going on in my crazy exchange life right now :)

P.S. I hate to break it to the Swedes but 2.2 million people is not a small town!
